Alright, been having a bad sore throat since yesterday. And today, we had a small gathering in leisure mall to celebrate tam's very belated birthday. Well, apparently i had to become everybody's chauffeur today, fetching all 4 (conrad, loy yang, michelle, tam) of them. And eh, i'm never that generous, it just so happened that it was tam's birthday that we're celebrating so i had to unwillingly volunteer to drive *wink*

Anyway, we left around 12 o'clock in the afternoon, and once we reached, the first place we went to was starbucks. Loy yang decided to have a drink there first, despite the fact that the rest of us weren't very keen of it. heheh. I was having a sore throat so coffee didn't seem appealing to my taste buds, hence, i had tea instead. I forgot what was it called, but ok, loy yang said it's cammomile mint tea. Whatever. It was lau who suggested it by the way, he was working there when we came. Lucky us, seeing lau means discounted coffee, and tea :) So we sipped and quaffed, talked and chit-chatted, and of course, snapped LOTS of pics. Like i said, photos are the essence of my blog. ahaha... (wth am i crapping here)

Lau then came with this unique b'day 'cake' of whipped cream and chocolate mousse. Never judge it by what it's made of. It actually tastes good, all smooth. pstt, conrad u had quite a big portion of it. it's fattening~

It was time to lunch after the drink, and the initial plan was to go to wong kok's char chan teng. Unfortunately for us, the place was packed, and the waiter said we had to wait for approximately half an hour to get our seats. In the end, we decided to settle for kenny roger's instead, all 5 of us had the quarter meal, and it wasn't bad.

Again, i sort of insisted to leave earlier, partly due to me not feeling well and also studies. Before we left we hung around the other block, went in sox world, and this is where conrad made some 'interesting' comments about the socks while i was having my pick. ah aa, i don't think i wanna mention it here ;) Anyway, the next stop was city chain, as i had to check whether my baby-G that i've sent for repair is ready. Apparently it's not. Darn, i've sent it in in oct last year and they're still not done with it?

Well, we decided to leave after that, i dropped all of them home, came home myself, and upon reaching home the first thing i did was to upload the pics into my pc. It was kindda fun for all, well, at least i'm sure loy yang was happy to meet his darlene conrad today.
