Orientation week was from 27th feb till 4th march. A week that is. Apparently we juniors were divided into 14 groups. And mine's group 4, consisting of 15 members - citra, david, diana, fish, keat seong, kee, kiren, leang, megala, min, munirah, sharon, teik sheng, william and i. Various activities were arranged throughout the week. Basically every group has an elected leader and an imcc. There is also this signature hunt thing where we were required to obtain the signatures of some prominent seniors in imu. And depending on the senior, he/she may rag you before granting you the signature.

Our group name's Dildotron, cyclotron -> dildotron.

We have 2 main group cheers. The first one goes like this:
hoh! hoh! hoh! hoh! d-i-l-d-o, d-i-l-d-o, tron!
mess with us will turn you on
hoh! hoh! hoh! hoh! d-i-l-d-o, d-i-l-d-o, tron!
mess with us will turn you on dildotron just bring it on!

The second one:
don't cha wish your dildo was big like mine, huh~
don't cha wish your dildo can fit in me, don't cha, don't cha huh~
(this cheer is accompanied by few interesting actions, choreographed by min - pstt, he just loves to shake his butt

There's one song we always use when seniors request us to create a song using their name:
(name) brings all the gals/guys to the yard, damn right, he/she is better than us; damn right, he/she is better than us,
(name) brings all the gals/guys to the yard, damn right, he/she is better than us; damn right, he/she is better than us!

MONDAY
Theme of the day: cartoon day. Was dressed up as one of the totally spies team - alex. Nothing much really. Interesting ones are min dressed as papa smurf, and william as the incredible hulk. Clad in purple ripped shorts, his whole body was painted green. When we were asked to do the sketch during the dress code check the hulk appeared into the scene while ripping off his shirt. And the seniors were impressed. We did some signature hunt too. And the ragging here was bit fun. :p Then we had ice-breakers from 4.30 till 7. When we first reached it was really hot, with almost blinding sunlight bouncing off the pavement and buildings. Had horrible ragging there. First they just sprayed water on us, which was nothing. Then seniors started approaching and smudged us with flour, eggs and butter. And the worst was the rubbish water, or whatever u call it. We were asked to squat down in a group and the seniors just dropped packets of smelly stuff (i assume some food they left to rot + its 'juices') right from the third or fourth floor above. Gross. By the end of it i was soaked with dirty stuff. I came back filthy and smelly. Only managed to get a shower and changed my shirt before driving home.

TUESDAY
Circus day. Was the magician's (teik sheng) assistant.

WEDNESDAY
Halloween day. Was wednesday from addams family. Treasure hunt. It started off at 5 and ended around 10 something. And we practically detoured all over bukit jalil. 5 hours of walking and running. And it's really tiring, i was like asphyxiated and devoid of stamina. Throughout the race i was one of the ones who were lagging behind. Before starting off, every group was given a worm and toufu. If your worm is still alive and toufu still in good condition at the end of the game you'll gain extra points. Just the first station and my entire face was covered with butter. The task was like this: all 13 of us have to stand in a line, the first person on the left rubs butter on his face, and this is passed on the person next to him by rubbing faces, this goes on until the last person which will rub the butter on the bread until every inch of the slice is spread with butter. We were told the worst station's gonna be the one in vista A, where the station masters are some domineering indians. That was one of last few stations we went to, and it didn't appear that bad, since we were sort of prepared. And surprisingly they kindda liked us too. Treasure hunt was great, i liked it better than ice breakers, although it's veryy tiring. It rained in the evening and we played and ran in the rain. I've done the unimaginable... Ate dog food, grab a fish from a container filled with live worms using my mouth, basically there's lotsa ragging. Butter, flour and egg all over, our shirts scribbled on using chinese ink, smudged with chili sauce, wasabi and curry mixture. There were a few stations where guys were required to take off their shirts, and gals their shoes to be dunked in stinky fish water. Well, the starting point was also the finishing point and we were the second group to reach there. Have to say i trudged my way there. The group who finds the treasure first will win the game. We scoured around and it took quite a while until the treasure was found and thankfully my group won, thanks to fraser, one of our OOs. Apparently the treasure's a plastic bag, with a piece of paper inside written treasure. And an opened coconut filled with live maggots and worms. There's a coin inside which we need to search to gain extra points. And the guys did it.

THURSDAY
Surprise day - our group dressed up as flashers :p

FRIDAY
Variety night. Variety night started at 4 and was scheduled to finish at 12.30 am. We had no lectures before that and that's the remaining time left for us to complete our signature hunt. Didn't manage to get all of them though. But it was an ok effort. As for variety night, all 14 groups will have to put on a sketch, which is the group performance, and the imcc for each group will have to cross dress (dress as a gal) according to the given theme. My group’s sketch was titled 'scotland yard vs bukit aman' and our imcc (min) was dressed up as a policewomen. And yes, he was a pretty boy :p. My group also did the 'ultraman dance', and it was kindda apparent that the seniors liked it. We didn't manage to be one of the top 3's though. Anyway, our imcc performance was great. Min put on a good show, i even cheered louder than i did in jay's concert :p The air of excitement was simply infectious. Love his dance man... He could really shake his body like well... shakira with brisk movements. And he emerged as the imcc champion. Cool huh, that also means he's gonna be the orientation committee president for next year.

SATURDAY
Last day of orientation. As i reached home late the previous night and only got to bed around 2.30, i had to really drag myself to get up for the telematch which starts at 8 am. As usual i reached imu late. My group members already gathered outside food avenue. The event was held in the sri petaling field and we had to get to the place by car. Well the telematch goes like this, there are 6 stations altogether and every group has to get to every station in order. As expected, there'll be games at every station and of course, ragging too. By the end of the telematch, i had flour, egg, butter and mud all over me. And yeah, got to smash an egg on phak guan's head too :) After that juniors were told to gather at one end of the field, whereas the seniors are at the other end. There were lots of cheer fight, and it was fun. Next was tug-of-war, 10 guys were chosen from the juniors and as for the seniors, they had like 20 or 30 of them? They cheated of course, and it's tradition. Seniors will always win. Oh well. Before we were dismissed, the seniors made us lie down on the field and as expected they smudged more butter and flour on us. I was sweating profusely and the butter was already starting to melt on my face. Drove home immediately after that, with dirt all over me, came home, slept until it was almost 6 and got up to go for the bbq. Nothing much there, it was boring. In the end some of my group members including me left early and decided to hang out in sharon's apartment. And it was until 3 o'clock in the morning that i decided to go home.

All in all orientation was great. Dresscode's cool, ice-breakers was ok, but bit passive for us sem 1's, treasure hunt was awesome, signature hunt was fun, variety night exciting, and same goes for telematch. Some seniors were far too aggressive though, some kindda insensitive and snobbish. Just SOME. Maybe some are just pranksters by nature. :p But one thing for sure is that the orientation week and its events will be etched forever in our minds.
