swt

Was browsing lowyat.net and there was this thread where the thread-starter asked whether there're other words associated/carries the same meaning as 'making love'.

One interesting one is: Fornicate Under Consent of the King.

Another is "Spreading pollen".

One guy gave a physics term "SIMPLE HARMONIC MOTION".

Some guy mentioned 'i think ur sandwich need a mayonaise...come n shake it out' and another forumer added on this joke...

A boy secretly bring her gf home. Unfortunately, his bro is sleeping. They have a double decker. Then to avoid his bro knowing, they use secret codes. If want to change position say "ketchup". If wan harder/faster then say "chilly". Then "ketchup", "chilli, chilli chilli", "ketchup", "chilli, chilli chilli", "ketchup", "chilli, chilli chilli". Suddenly, his bro shouted, "Please stop doing sandwich, the mayonise is all over me".

The 101 things about me...

Aha, it's been really a long time since i've last blogged. Yeah, and i'm 18 already. Call that old, or have i just crossed the gates of so-called 'childhood' life, being controlled by parents and all? Nah, i guess not. Being 18 doesn't grant you all the freedom. Well, since i will not be posting anything regularly for the time to come, i'll just put on this 'little' post over here which i will update - when i'm bored / when i have time / when i feel like it. ("p)

100 things you may not know about me:
1. I may seem quiet and reserved. True. I was, i wasn't and i am now. I was a bit shy (duh, better replace this with a better word) since i was a kid, but when i actually entered sbs, i got a bit loud (that's for form 4). Well, from form 5 onwards i was back to my usual quiet self, why, that's secret :p

2. I never like to eat in coffee shops alone. Because i do not converse well in chinese, and hence, i do not know how to order dishes. Pathetic, yeah i know.

3. Somehow it still appears that i depend 99%, okay make it 90% on my parents. As above, i don't know how to order foods etc etc.

4. I've been driving for like... 7 months, and i've never really tried refuelling myself. Ah, funny eh?

5. Acheived grade 8 for piano this year, and to be damn honest, i'm not up to that standard. I'm serious!

6. Life sux. That's my motto. Well, at least i think it does half of the time. Maybe in reality it doesn't, but i never feel contented in life.

7. When i was about 5 or 6 years old, i had this terrible cough which made me visit the lung specialist at least once every fortnight. Scary eh... the doc said it's asmatic cough. No idea about that.

8. I love shopping, but i know i have to be a lil considerate and not spend too much. So i don't shop much. HA!

9. Have always wanted to be a doctor since i was a kid. Dismissed that ambition after spm, and considering it yet again now (during sam).

10. I'm confused about religion. Born to a buddhist family, I've been exposed to christianity when i was a child, well, i prefer not to elaborate on this. I shall decide on my religion when i'm matured enough!

11. Happiest schooling life so far: form 4 sbs, was close to conrad and wen chin back then. And having pizzas at my place after school was simply great!

12. Had my braces on when i was 14, wore it for about 1 and the half years, and had it off at the end of form 3 / beginning of form 4. Supposed to put on my retainer since then, but i did not put it on when i'm supposed to.

13. Talking about guilt, i feel guilty easily. Even for the slightest mistakes.

14. Childhood books: peter and jane, enid blyton's, bookworm books. Teenage books: babysitter's club, ronald dahl's books. Current books: all sorts, mostly chick lits *wink*

15. Have had birthday parties at my house since i was small, up till form 1. My mom organises them. Sweet. Then on my 14th birthday, i celebrated with my friends in midvalley.

16. I would normally answer back when my parents scold and yell at me. That's when i couldn't control my temper (i'm bad tempered, so does my dad, and mom i guess). I don't want to you know, well, filial piety that is.

17. I used milk bottle till the age of 4. I know it's bit disgracing, but i'm not the only one!!

18. I hate conflicts between friends. I've witnessed my friends arguing before. And i was stuck in between. That sux.

19. I condemned teens who get involve in boy-girl relationships, until i was 14. When someone asked me out, i never hesitated to decline. Ironic.

20. I can't stand the cold. But yet i wish to stay in cold countries and enjoy the 4 seasons. Uh...

21. I used to collect pokemon figurines. And i still have them now. Oh yea, i have a huge collection of stamps and first day covers too.

22. I used to love power rangers when i was a kid.

23. I've been reading Beano since primary school. In case you've no idea what it is, beano is a famous uk comic.

24. I used to ask my parents this when i was little: "why does the moon follow us wherever we go?"

25. I didn't know how to differentiate the words 'borrow' and 'lend' and was frequently corrected by my mom last time. That was yearsss ago.

26. I didn't know what is left and right in chinese until last year. I was 17 back then. A chinese but white in the inside. Some say banana.

27. I have stage fright. And i'm no good in talking ie. public speaking, debate.

28. Best korean drama so far: Stairway to heaven. That's because it's the only drama that i've really watched. LOL! (okay i've watched a lot more since then)

29. Trust no one in this world.

30. I LOVE linkin park.

31. My first family dog is a beagle-dushund named Punky :) Next was a pomeranian spitz named Sweedy, then a pure breed wire-haired fox terrier named Foxy. Current dog's a hmm... i shall find out about it.

32. I couldn't stand and control laughing. Everytime i feel like giggling when the time's not right, i'll tell myself i mustn't, i mustn't. Suddenly i'll give a tiny snort and turn it into a cough. Okay, this is supposed to be a big secret.

33. Everytime a stranger talks to me or a motorcyclist rides past me while i'm walking i'll feel a little spasm of panic.

34. I'm always curious. Although i don't display it, i have to say that curiousity always niggles at me like a burr.

35. If you went through life examining the minute consequences of everything you were about to do, you'd end up so bloody paranoid you'd do nothing. That's ME!

36. I started learning piano when i was 5. During my childhood years i've attended various lessons which include art classes, mental arithmetic classes, memory teq etc.

37. I could still vividly remember that there was once i got the 12th position in class during primary 2 and was canned by my dad. When i grew up and realised that my brothers were not punished the same way i was, i kindda felt indignant, but in the end i didn't mind at all. At least that made me prioritize my studies :)

38. I hate people who act as if you don't exist. Hate people who are clinical in behaviour, and sterile in mannerism.

51. I wonder how some people can remain amazingly pencil thin and fit.

52. I hate it when ppl hang up the phone without saying a 'bye'.

54. I find everyday life an extreme bore. Maybe not everyday, but it's most of the days.

cny 2006

Cny week was great, but i'll just note some of the interesting events which happened...

28 Jan (Sat)

1. My dad reached home around 5 and he brought back some of the beijing 2008 olympic mascots for my brother. These toys cost 78 yuan each, but my dad got them for free :)

These mascots have their own names which are bei bei, jing jing, huan huan, ying ying and ni ni respectively. Which kindda sums up to bei jing huan ying ni (beijing welcomes you) *funny*

2. Was about to get a shower and get prepared for reunion dinner. As usual, i'll use the bathroom in the master bedroom. I was frightened when i realised there was a lizard on the wall, and tried to hit the wall somewhere near it with the attempt to scare it away. Never did i know that it'll detach itself from the wall and fling itself, falling near the sink. And i was pratically shrieking and jumping in horror inside the bathroom. uh, it took me sometime to get it out from the bathroom with the help of my brother.

3. Anyway, reunion dinner was in janbo cheras, my aunt's treat. I didn't know it was such a big reunion, 2 tables altogether. And food was nice too, the whole set was rm 900++ per table. First dish was the usual yee sang. Then we had 'Buddha jumps over the wall' (fatt tiu cheung).

Just the second dish and we already felt bloated.

There're many other luxurious dishes: abalone, lobster, bird's nest... you name it all.

Lobster... *drools*

As for drinks, there was chinese tea, red wine, whisky, brandy and also sparkling juice.

My brother and i were repeatedly persuaded by our uncle to drink red wine. We shared a glass, and when there was little left in our glass, the waitress came and refilled it. swt.

Those of older generations seem to prefer whiskey.

The dinner ended around 11.30 and by that time, we were absolutely stuffed to the brim.

29th Jan (Sun)

4. Went bai nin. After my grandpa's house we went to mines to visit some relatives, which whom i have no idea how they're related to us. Well, went there with my cousin's family and it was really boring. Denzel kept attempting to capture my cousin's photo into a frame using my phone but apparently...

to no avail :p

5. At night, we had yee sang at home. All in all i had 4 yee sangs this year - reunion dinner, home, another dinner, and chris's house.

Lou yee sang~

30th Jan (Mon)

6. Visited my dad's brother in ttdi. And like any other years, we went shopping in 1 utama after that. My mum suggested that we get a new set of monopoly as the old one is really worn out. Went into parkson, and there were 5 types of monopoly there - monopoly junior, monopoly star wars edition, monopoly malaysia edition, monopoly 70th anniversary editon, and the standard monopoly which we currently own. Agonizing over what to choose, we stood there deciding whether to purchase and which to purchase. Malaysia edition is definately out, junior out, star wars nope, and since we already had the standard one we're left with the most expensive set - monopoly 70th anniversary edition. Costs about rm 270. I wasn't really in favour of getting it but my mom bought it anyway.

Packaged in a silver collectible game tin, this Monopoly version features a foil-wrapped, folding game board, 12 large, chrome-plated tokens, 12 unique hotels in different sizes and shapes, 32 houses in 4 distinctive styles, gold Title Deeds, colorful Chance and Community Chest Cards, 70th Anniversary Monopoly Money, and glittery game dice.

Monopoly seventieth anniversary edition...

Silver collectible game tin...

The game tokens are much larger and higher in quality than the original tokens, and include all-new pieces. An elegant high-heeled shoe replaces the old shoe, the race car has become a stretch roadster, and the dog now stands on his hind legs. Alongside classic pieces like the top hat, horse and rider, thimble, iron, cannon, and wheelbarrow, are a new speedboat, high-speed train, and a bag of money.

12 unique hotels in different sizes and shapes, and 32 houses in 4 distinctive styles.

Our first game of monopoly was during that night, and shawn appeared to be the richest player at the end of the game.

Whoever comes here will be dead meat...

Oh yea, denzel kept clamouring for this uno h2o which is a complete waste of money since we already have about 3 sets of uno at home: the original uno, uno attack, and uno harry potter.

Nothing special, just waterproff cards.

31st Jan (Tues)

7. Visited my aunts house and they were talking about these ceramic garden stool which they bought at a very cheap price and my uncle joked: "see the holes on the middle, mosquitoes tend to get inside and they'll bite your butt. but the holes are useful too, maybe for those who have piles." lol...

Think the picture's bit blurry...

1st Feb (Wed)

8. Went to timesquare with the sole purpose of watching fearless. This time, we booked the tickets beforehand since the tickets were sold out when we wanted to watch in leisure mall the day before. Ugh, not really anticipating this movie, since it's another chinese kungfu movie. Throughout the movie i kept switching positions on my seat, and occasionally leaning and resting my head on the arm rest (a sign of feeling bored). The only thing which caught my attention was jay's mv before the movie.

I have to admit he looks a bit funny and silly acting that way but the song's great.

2nd Feb (Thurs)

9. Well, went visiting with some friends today like what we did the previous years, but this time there were about 14 or 15 of us altogether. Guys: chris, edmund, edward, ern li, jeff, jon, kien yip, loy yang; Gals: ivy, kelly, kiat hwa, lai tee, lee wun, may, pek mun, tam, and i. Anyway, i went home after jon's house for dinner, while the rest decided to have dinner in cowboy delight. Tam kept persuading me to join them in chris's house after dinner but it was rather unlikely to happen as my dad wouldn't allow me to drive at night alone. Anyway, was kindda luckly that jeff was in midah and he would be able to fetch me there. I was at the condo at that moment, and chris sms-ed me saying jeff is gonna arrive in 5 mins. Went downstairs after 5 minutes, but he wasn't there, and he called in the end asking where am i. Apparently, he went to my old house thinking i was there.

Guess that's all. Went to gen japanese restaurant in legend hotel on friday night for japanese buffet, and saturday was boring. It takes painstaking effort to publish such a post with so many pictures and i'm kindda lazy already. :p

My brother says...

Denzel says that this marigold yogurt makes you 'short and fat'.

Just in case you are unable to read its white wordings, it actually says 'rendah lemak'... lol
