dOta

Tada... played dota for the first time today! Well, was initially hanging out with min and york xiong during lunch and we were thinking of what to do to kill time. In the end they suggested dota, and of course, i was dragged along. Anyway, went to zone-x (was it? some cc in sri petaling) and we started dota-ing till the next 3 hours. It was raining when we were leaving the premise and there was this massive jam on the road we were on. Surprisingly it didn't take that long to reach imu. And when we eventually reached the campus, min and i decided to head to endah parade to grab a present for one of our friends. There we were, scouring around that dead shopping complex until we stumbled onto this small, miserable gift shop. Settled for an item, then it was off shopping in carrefour. After all that, we had dinner in imu's cafeteria. Ordered pineapple fried rice, and it wasn't bad. It was almost 8 when we finally finish our meal we walked to megala's place. Watched some siamese horror movie there. It was around 11 when i finally reached home. Oh yea, dota wasn't bad. Both starcraft and warcraft had me totally engrossed last time. What more dota? Whoops, do not get me wrong here. I'm not a fanatic, yet.

And how am i coping with studies. I reached home late and didn't manage to study. Lost one day there. There's definately ALOT to catch up with. The facts are accumulating and i'm trying hard to follow up.

And eh, i've just discovered this pic. what de heck... lol.

The Unintelligence Test

The results are in! You are...

67% Untelligent!

Your score is close to the current worldwide average of 64%.
Your score is unique, however, so keep reading.

Here is the custom report of your personality than led our team of geeks to conclude (with confidence) that you are a moderate but excitingly differentgraph.xcf woman:

"The subject shows an astounding level of intelligence, and her sense of observation is one of her best qualities. Considering this, she shows a lot of potential, but that's only part of the equation.
The subject is brave, however, and shows real strength in that department. Courageousness is a large part of untelligence.

Finally, the subject displayed a pathetic and useless (seriously bad) sense of humor, a decent and respectable sense of morality, and a complete lack of self-confidence. The balance of these three traits is important; high levels of confidence, medium levels of morality, and a good level of humor make for the strongest individuals. "

Two Girls, A Guy And A Locked Steering Wheel !

Been really busy lately. Hence, for convenience sake, i'll just copy and paste this post from conrad's blog. *muahaha* It makes life a lot more easier having going through the same events in life with him. ps. since it's from conrad's blog, it's told from conrad's point of view, of course! Words in light turquoise colour are my comments :)

Michelle had planned that she, Debbi and I go out and hang in Taman Midah's 'pasar malam'. Well, she came late, about half an hour late ... the reason ? ... she herself has yet to tell me ... (ouh, she told me!) Michelle had trouble doing a side parking infront of her uncle's house. So, after much struggle, and lots of laughter from me and Debbi, Michelle's uncle offered to park the car for her. That in itself sprouted much more laughter from Deb and I. :)

When we entered the 'pasar malam', Michelle and I made a bee-line to the pirated CD peddlers. I bought Pussycat Doll's and Black Eye Peas' albums. Michelle bought 4 different chinese singers whose names oddly sound the same. (they don't sound the same to me at least) Then we sat a 'Chee Cheong Fan/Fun' shop and had curry laksa instead because all the 'chee cheong fan/fun' finished already. Whilst eating we all gossiped away and constantly laughing at our silly antics.

As we headed home after a long night, ( where a car sprayed droplets of water on my face and onto Michele too ), we walked back to the car. To our surprise, Michelle started tugging and pulling the steering wheel of her 'Kembara' ! After awhile, if you passed us, you would witness Michelle frantically pulling the steering wheel, whilst Debbi and I are howling with laughter. (we were in hysterics!) In the end, I offered to help tug the wheel too. Debbi suggested that maybe the engine should be turned on but Michelle had already tried that. Everything practically locked by itself. Fortunately, Michelle's uncle came to help again. Within 2 seconds, the car came to life, much to the embarrassment of Michele and I. ... haih ... The worlds worst drivers ! ... We still don't know what her uncle did ?! (my first time knowing that steerings could actually lock themselves *did it?* anyway, it was REALLY funny that i laughed till my ribs hurt and everytime mic gave another tug on the wheel i gave another gurgle)

Finally, we all laughed on the way to our homes ... what a night ! ... As soon as I plopped myself on the bed, I dozed off. (well, me too)

*kudos to conrad for the post kekeke*

your personal dna report?

You are an Independent Designer.

About You

You are a Designer

As a DESIGNER, you are receptive to ideas and experiences, and enjoy the beautiful things in life, yet you are also grounded and realistic about yourself and the world.

You have a quiet appreciation for beauty in all its forms – in nature, in people, and in human creations from architecture to movies.

Instead of only focusing on functionality, you try to incorporate your good sense of style and taste into your choices.

At times you feel unsure of yourself, especially when confronted by other people.

You aren't the kind of person who insists on having things your way all the time – you are willing to go along with other people's opinions, even if you disagree.

Others may not know this about you, but you are very interested in new ideas, thoughts, expressions, and experiences. You enjoy learning and trying new things.

Although you are practical, you are anything but boring – you have depths to you that others cannot see.

The idea of doing the same thing every day for the rest of your life scares you – you need more excitement and challenge than that!

You have a remarkable eye for detail and precision, noticing things that others miss.

You're not one to force your positions on a group, and you tend to be fair in evaluating different options.

You prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute.

You are a fashion maven, up on trends, but distinct in your own style. You don't follow trends, you set them.

Generally, you believe that you control your life, and that external forces only play a limited role in determining what happens to you.

If you want to be different:

Have faith in your ideas, and voice them more often. Your unique perspective needs to be shared!

Allow yourself to become fully immersed in your dreams now and then. You can develop your aesthetic vision even further by allowing your imagination to flourish.

Be as open to your own wishes as you are to those of others.

How You Relate to Others

You are Independent

Your inward focus, trusting nature, and sharp sense of right and wrong make you INDEPENDENT.

Your thoughts and actions are not reliant on what others think about you; you have a clearly defined moral structure.

When it comes to others, you are very practical, expecting people to take care of themselves.

You generally believe the best about people, but you hold them to high standards.

Similarly, you believe in maintaining integrity, honor, and a sense of respect for those who have earned their success.

Trust needs to be earned with you; you're slow to forgive when people have violated your trust.

Spending time alone means a lot to you, as does keeping certain things private.

You quietly observe a lot about the world, giving you a keen sense of both how things are and how things should be.

You've learned that you need to prioritize your own feelings, as opposed to always considering others' feelings first.

If you want to be different:

Let your trust in others allow you to consider that interpersonal situations can be complex, and that people's feelings in those situations can take many forms.

Accordingly, in working harder to understand people's perspectives, you might find that their insights can help you make better decisions.

m106

Orientation week was from 27th feb till 4th march. A week that is. Apparently we juniors were divided into 14 groups. And mine's group 4, consisting of 15 members - citra, david, diana, fish, keat seong, kee, kiren, leang, megala, min, munirah, sharon, teik sheng, william and i. Various activities were arranged throughout the week. Basically every group has an elected leader and an imcc. There is also this signature hunt thing where we were required to obtain the signatures of some prominent seniors in imu. And depending on the senior, he/she may rag you before granting you the signature.

Our group name's Dildotron, cyclotron -> dildotron.

We have 2 main group cheers. The first one goes like this:
hoh! hoh! hoh! hoh! d-i-l-d-o, d-i-l-d-o, tron!
mess with us will turn you on
hoh! hoh! hoh! hoh! d-i-l-d-o, d-i-l-d-o, tron!
mess with us will turn you on dildotron just bring it on!

The second one:
don't cha wish your dildo was big like mine, huh~
don't cha wish your dildo can fit in me, don't cha, don't cha huh~
(this cheer is accompanied by few interesting actions, choreographed by min - pstt, he just loves to shake his butt

There's one song we always use when seniors request us to create a song using their name:
(name) brings all the gals/guys to the yard, damn right, he/she is better than us; damn right, he/she is better than us,
(name) brings all the gals/guys to the yard, damn right, he/she is better than us; damn right, he/she is better than us!

MONDAY
Theme of the day: cartoon day. Was dressed up as one of the totally spies team - alex. Nothing much really. Interesting ones are min dressed as papa smurf, and william as the incredible hulk. Clad in purple ripped shorts, his whole body was painted green. When we were asked to do the sketch during the dress code check the hulk appeared into the scene while ripping off his shirt. And the seniors were impressed. We did some signature hunt too. And the ragging here was bit fun. :p Then we had ice-breakers from 4.30 till 7. When we first reached it was really hot, with almost blinding sunlight bouncing off the pavement and buildings. Had horrible ragging there. First they just sprayed water on us, which was nothing. Then seniors started approaching and smudged us with flour, eggs and butter. And the worst was the rubbish water, or whatever u call it. We were asked to squat down in a group and the seniors just dropped packets of smelly stuff (i assume some food they left to rot + its 'juices') right from the third or fourth floor above. Gross. By the end of it i was soaked with dirty stuff. I came back filthy and smelly. Only managed to get a shower and changed my shirt before driving home.

TUESDAY
Circus day. Was the magician's (teik sheng) assistant.

WEDNESDAY
Halloween day. Was wednesday from addams family. Treasure hunt. It started off at 5 and ended around 10 something. And we practically detoured all over bukit jalil. 5 hours of walking and running. And it's really tiring, i was like asphyxiated and devoid of stamina. Throughout the race i was one of the ones who were lagging behind. Before starting off, every group was given a worm and toufu. If your worm is still alive and toufu still in good condition at the end of the game you'll gain extra points. Just the first station and my entire face was covered with butter. The task was like this: all 13 of us have to stand in a line, the first person on the left rubs butter on his face, and this is passed on the person next to him by rubbing faces, this goes on until the last person which will rub the butter on the bread until every inch of the slice is spread with butter. We were told the worst station's gonna be the one in vista A, where the station masters are some domineering indians. That was one of last few stations we went to, and it didn't appear that bad, since we were sort of prepared. And surprisingly they kindda liked us too. Treasure hunt was great, i liked it better than ice breakers, although it's veryy tiring. It rained in the evening and we played and ran in the rain. I've done the unimaginable... Ate dog food, grab a fish from a container filled with live worms using my mouth, basically there's lotsa ragging. Butter, flour and egg all over, our shirts scribbled on using chinese ink, smudged with chili sauce, wasabi and curry mixture. There were a few stations where guys were required to take off their shirts, and gals their shoes to be dunked in stinky fish water. Well, the starting point was also the finishing point and we were the second group to reach there. Have to say i trudged my way there. The group who finds the treasure first will win the game. We scoured around and it took quite a while until the treasure was found and thankfully my group won, thanks to fraser, one of our OOs. Apparently the treasure's a plastic bag, with a piece of paper inside written treasure. And an opened coconut filled with live maggots and worms. There's a coin inside which we need to search to gain extra points. And the guys did it.

THURSDAY
Surprise day - our group dressed up as flashers :p

FRIDAY
Variety night. Variety night started at 4 and was scheduled to finish at 12.30 am. We had no lectures before that and that's the remaining time left for us to complete our signature hunt. Didn't manage to get all of them though. But it was an ok effort. As for variety night, all 14 groups will have to put on a sketch, which is the group performance, and the imcc for each group will have to cross dress (dress as a gal) according to the given theme. My group’s sketch was titled 'scotland yard vs bukit aman' and our imcc (min) was dressed up as a policewomen. And yes, he was a pretty boy :p. My group also did the 'ultraman dance', and it was kindda apparent that the seniors liked it. We didn't manage to be one of the top 3's though. Anyway, our imcc performance was great. Min put on a good show, i even cheered louder than i did in jay's concert :p The air of excitement was simply infectious. Love his dance man... He could really shake his body like well... shakira with brisk movements. And he emerged as the imcc champion. Cool huh, that also means he's gonna be the orientation committee president for next year.

SATURDAY
Last day of orientation. As i reached home late the previous night and only got to bed around 2.30, i had to really drag myself to get up for the telematch which starts at 8 am. As usual i reached imu late. My group members already gathered outside food avenue. The event was held in the sri petaling field and we had to get to the place by car. Well the telematch goes like this, there are 6 stations altogether and every group has to get to every station in order. As expected, there'll be games at every station and of course, ragging too. By the end of the telematch, i had flour, egg, butter and mud all over me. And yeah, got to smash an egg on phak guan's head too :) After that juniors were told to gather at one end of the field, whereas the seniors are at the other end. There were lots of cheer fight, and it was fun. Next was tug-of-war, 10 guys were chosen from the juniors and as for the seniors, they had like 20 or 30 of them? They cheated of course, and it's tradition. Seniors will always win. Oh well. Before we were dismissed, the seniors made us lie down on the field and as expected they smudged more butter and flour on us. I was sweating profusely and the butter was already starting to melt on my face. Drove home immediately after that, with dirt all over me, came home, slept until it was almost 6 and got up to go for the bbq. Nothing much there, it was boring. In the end some of my group members including me left early and decided to hang out in sharon's apartment. And it was until 3 o'clock in the morning that i decided to go home.

All in all orientation was great. Dresscode's cool, ice-breakers was ok, but bit passive for us sem 1's, treasure hunt was awesome, signature hunt was fun, variety night exciting, and same goes for telematch. Some seniors were far too aggressive though, some kindda insensitive and snobbish. Just SOME. Maybe some are just pranksters by nature. :p But one thing for sure is that the orientation week and its events will be etched forever in our minds.
